NGIS PTA want to take the opportunity to welcome new parents, carers and children to the school and to thank everyone for supporting our events and helping us raise money last academic year.

We are a number of parents and carers who meet once every half term in an evening. The PTA is currently operating without a formal chair, and would welcome interest from new parents and carers who would be keen to get involved.

We are parents who help out regularly bringing new ideas, making events and fundraising happen. Anyone can join the PTA group and be involved. Please contact us using the details below if you would like to know more.

PTA funding has been essential for the school to buy new resources, books and apparatus, all of which help to enrich our children’s learning experience. We also hope the events, such as theatre visits and summer fairs, increase their enjoyment of school life. The money last year helped pay for ongoing work in the Woodland Area, including the purchase of a shelter and outside lights, a pantomime, road safety signs and the new playground markings.

School Lottery

Buy School Lottery tickets from as little as £1 and you could be in with a chance of winning the local draw. Each week there is a winner from the local school community and you could also be in with a chance to win a £25,000 jackpot. We've raised over £1,000 for the school in the first year of the lottery with many parents also winning prizes.

Without parent volunteers, we would not be able to do anything.  You can volunteer at one event or all of them.  We understand that people have other commitments and are just grateful for what help you can offer.

We have a Facebook page, Nether Green Infant School PTA This is a closed group which you must request to join. This gives you updates on what the PTA are doing and what we are fundraising for, the next event that is coming up, reminders etc. This is where we will sometimes ask for volunteers and you can post questions to the committee as well.
