Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome back! I hope you all had a good half term break.

Using the Ofsted logos | Ofsted

We have now received our Ofsted report and are able to share it with you. The report provides a  summary of the findings of the two day inspection in December. We are very pleased that the report acknowledges so much of the wonderful work that our staff do to ensure the very best for our children. The feedback from parents we received during the inspection was incredibly positive - thank you! We are very proud that our school has been described as 'a caring, nurturing and inclusive school' and that our high expectations for both behaviour and learning outcomes has been  acknowledged - it is also great to hear that 'pupils enjoy coming to school!'

You can read the full report here:-

Ofsted December 2023

It's been a fun week in school this week.

Bears had an optician visit as part of the topic 'People who help us' and today the children have had a fantastic time in the Chinese Dragon Dance workshop

NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe | News Post Page

This week, children in Year 1 and Year 2 had the ‘Speak out. Stay Safe' assembly. This teaches the children that everyone has a right to be safe and happy and advises them about what they should do if they are worried about anything; this included reminding them about who 'safe' and 'trusted' adults are that they can talk to if they have any worries. Children in Year 2 also took part in a face to face workshop on Thursday led by NSPCC volunteers.
Children in Reception have wacthed the PANTS short video in class this week.

The attached letter has more information and links to useful online information.

We have also booked an Online Safety Talk for parents / carers with the NSPCC on Friday 3rd May at 9:00am
