Headteacher's Welcome What a fabulous end to the term we have had! On Monday the children had a visit from Father Christmas himself! He was very pleased with all the children for working hard this year and rewarded them all with a present and some traditional Christmas cheer! The Y2 children also went to sing Christmas songs at the Firth Homes in Nether Green - they were fabulous and the singing was very well received by the residents. On Tuesday evening the Choir performed songs from 'Bethlehem the Musical' to their families. They were absolutely AMAZING! They did brilliantly learning so many words off by heart and also singing in two parts - and they did all this with so much enthusiasm; I was incredibly proud of all of them! Yesterday the school was full of excitement as the children enjoyed their Christmas parties, there were games, dancing and of course lots of yummy food - thanks to everyone for your kind donations. I would like to say an enormous thank you to my staff team - over the past term, we have had lots of illnesses in school, and the staff have been brilliant at stepping in and doing extra when needed. I hope you all stay well and enjoy a fun filled, restful Christmas with your family! Happy Christmas from all of us and we will see you back on Monday 6th January for the new school year.

Healthy Elfie - Selfie Challenge
We would like to invite our children and their parents/carers to take part in a holiday 'Healthy Selfie' challenge with a Christmas twist! The 'Elfie-Selfie' challenge is here!
We would love for the children to take a selfie photo to show an aspect of 'health and fitness' they undertook during the Christmas holidays. And, of course, it can feature your Christmas Elf or any other exciting healthy activity you participated in during the holidays.
This could be anything, from fun physical activity to participating in a sport to making a healthy snack or even something you have done to positively affect your mental health! Once we return to school, we will show the children their photos in assembly.
Please email your Healthy Selfie photos to enquiries@nethergreen-inf.sch.uk.
