Headteacher's Welcome I hope you all had a fabulous half term. It is lovely to finally see some sunshine and the spring flowers popping up around us. We've had a great first week back in school. This term we are focusing on the School Value of 'Perseverance'. On Monday, in our assembly, we talked about all the things that we are good at - there were lots of talents shared; bike riding, gymnastics, reading, drawing, singing, playing football, dancing - the list went on! We then talked about how we had ended up good at them - by trying and trying, even when things are tricky! The children in Y1 and Y2 have been making 'Fabric Faces' as part of their Design and Technology learning. They have been exploring different materials and ways of joining materials including sewing - there was definitely lots of perseverance required here!!!
